SEN. THAYER, REP. PRATT PRESENTS $5 MILLION TO GEORGETOWN MUNICIPAL WATER AND SEWER SERVICES

Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer, R-Georgetown, and State Representative Phillip Pratt, R-Georgetown, presented a $5 million ceremonial check to the Georgetown Municipal Water and Sewer Services (GMWSS) Tuesday morning representing investments made by the Kentucky General Assembly. The funding will support a project identified in the GMWSS five-year Capital Improvements Program.

SEN. THAYER PRESENTS $500,000 TO AMEN HOUSE OF GEORGETOWN

Organization Aims to Construct an Operational Warehouse to Support Feeding Program — Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer presented a $500,000 ceremonial check to the AMEN House in Georgetown Tuesday to represent investments made by the Kentucky General Assembly. The mission of the AMEN House is to end hunger in Scott County.

SEN. THAYER, REP. PRATT PRESENT CEREMONIAL CHECK TO SCOTT COUNTY FISCAL COURT BENEFITING KEY ROAD PROJECTS

On Friday morning, Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer and State Representative Phillip Pratt presented a ceremonial check to the Scott County Fiscal Court for $32 million. The 2022 General Assembly allocated the funding in this year’s biennial road plan for needed projects in Scott County. Senator Thayer, R-Georgetown, played an instrumental role in securing these vital funds.

SENATORS DAMON THAYER AND STEVE WEST DELIVER CEREMONIAL CHECK TO KENTUCKY HORSE PARK COMMISSION

Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer, R-Georgetown, and Senator Steve West, R-Paris, attended the quarterly meeting of the Kentucky Horse Park Commission this afternoon where they presented a ceremonial check in the amount of $21 million in funding. The funds were allocated to the park in the 2022 state budget enacted during the 2022 Legislative Session.
